An alliance of amazing nonprofit members

While the Westside Collaborative has various for-profit, individual, and government partnerships, at our very core, we are an alliance of nonprofit member agencies streamlining services, programming, and resources for greater efficiencies and working collectively to maximize sustainable impact in our community.

Steepletown neighborhood services

Steepletown is a vital part of the northwest Grand Rapids community. Focusing on developing neighbors of all ages, Steepletown provides exemplary services in preschool, teens, young adult, adult, and senior programming.

ICCF

The Inner City Christian Federation provides so much to the greater Grand Rapids community, but serves an essential role in West Grand Rapids as one of the few leaders paving ways for neighbors to access affordable housing.

JOHN BALL ZOO

Under the leadership of Peter D'Arienzo, the John Ball Zoo has re-committed to its mission in serving community in West Grand Rapids. Their collaborative spirit can be witnessed in the annual Westside Cleanup, serving as hosts to many neighborhood organizations in the exciting spring event!

ThE OTHER WAY

The Other Way Ministries served as the fiduciary and home organization for the Westside Collaborative through 2018. For decades, The Other Way has been a key leader in community service and programming.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat's impact can be felt EVERYWHERE in Grand Rapids, but their role in West Grand Rapids is paramount. With improvements and builds all over West Grand Rapids, they have been the primary leader in community development in the Roosevelt Park and Black Hills neighborhoods.

KSSN

Bringing support and services directly into school buildings through the power of partnerships.

brdige street house of prayer

An urban ministry with focus on youth and leadership development, BSHOP continues to lead in ways that focus on relationships and meet our community right where they are.

WMAAA

Neighbors to the Westside Collaborative staff with offices inside the Goei Center, the West Michigan Asian American Association is the leading voice in providing education to the greater Grand Rapids area on Asian communities and community impact while also paving the way for opportunities and access for our Asian American neighbors.
